Stacey DiGiacomo

Stacey DiGiacomo is a nationally certified Physician Assistant, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from SUNY Cortland and then earned her degree in Physician Assistant studies at Touro School of Health Sciences. However clinically trained as a multi-specialty Physician assistant, Ms. DiGiacomo specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology by completing an internship as an educator at Planned Parenthood of Suffolk County, as well as clinical electives in Ob/Gyn at St. John’s Hospital in Far Rockaway and Elmhurst Hospital in Queens, New York. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician assistants.

New to Island OBGYN in 2015 –Michelle is a nationally certified Nurse Practitioner who graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing Stony Brook University in the spring of 2015. She received a Master’s of Science from the School of Health Technology and Management from Stony Brook University in 2011, prior to that a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University and an Associates in Nursing from Suffolk Community College in 1997 . She has been working as a registered nurse for over 18 years. Her areas of expertise are Labor and Delivery, High Risk pregnancies, Post-Operative Care and Information Technology. She currently serves Suffolk County as a Forensic Nurse Examiner, internationally certified, specializing in providing care for individuals who have been sexually assaulted. A native to Long Island, Michelle is raising a family locally and involved in her community.
